In 2007, Mr. Shallum Etpison, President of the NECO Group of Companies, became President of the PSFA.
He established the Etpison Cup in honor of his father, the late President Ngiratkel Etpison, 4th President of the Republic of Palau. The Etpison Cup has been featured every year since then.
By joining together, both organizations organize various sports during the two days of the main event such as beach volleyball, V6 regatta canoe race, walkathon, health check, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, archery competition, bicycle race, heath check, and ladies bottom fishing derby.
The main sponsors are Bank of Hawaii, IP & E, Palau Pacific Resort, Miller Lite and NECO Yamaha.
