Boonie Stomps - Brittney’s Falls

We travel to the very center of Guam to explore a small 20 foot waterfall with a deep freshwater swimming hole and a fun jump. For those with an historical interest, we offer the option to continue to the seldom seen Yokoi’s Cave. Bring: 4 liters water, hiking shoes, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch and snacks, and a camera. Special conditions: Sword grass, river crossing, a rope climb, little shade, and a muddy swamp.

Boonie Stomps - Alutom Falls w/ Upper Sigua Opt.

From the top of Mt. Alutom we hike down to a hidden cool green waterfall with jumping and swimming. The adventurous can continue on to the steep drop to Upper Sigua Falls for waterfall fun before climbing back out. Bring: 2 liters water, hiking shoes, gloves, swimsuit, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Steep slopes, rocky trail, mud, a an uphill climb out

Our hardest hike, three difficult hikes strung together. We visit 2 mountains with fantastic views, a pristine jungle river, and a narrow gorge with swimming, jumping, and rock sliding spots. Bring: 4 quarts water, strong shoes that can get wet, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch and snacks, and camera. Special conditions: Sword grass, steep slopes, walking in water, slippery rocks, a very long hike, more sword grass.

We descend to a beautiful isolated cove on the northwest side of the island which is ideal for low/high jumping, swimming, snorkeling, and possible reef walking and freshwater spring exploring if the water is calm. We will also visit the Oceanside petroglyph cave. Bring: 2 quarts water, swim suit, snorkel gear, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: A steep slope to ascend and a few rough rocky trail areas.

We journey to 2 cooling waterfalls in southeastern Guam. Enjoy swimming and waterfall showers at the scenic Fintasa Falls, head much further downstream to enjoy the open ledges, individual swim holes or water cave of Laolao Falls. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking shoes, swimsuit, gloves, sun screen, sunglasses, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Some walking in water, fairly steep hills to climb and descend, sword grass

We visit the large Upper Falls for jumping and swimming fun. We then have a choice of walking down the river and on jungle trail (hard) or returning to the cars and walking down the road to reach the large middle falls, then take the trail down to the lower falls for jumping, swimming, and exploring. Bring: 2 quarts water, wet shoes, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Walking in water, slippery rocks and mud, and mosquitoes.

We trek to a great scenic area on Guam, a series of waterfalls and cascades in the southeast. There is something for everyone to enjoy, from tiny tots playing in the cascades or to jumping, waterfall showers, and a rock slide for the more adventurous. There’s even a hammock for the more sedate. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking shoes, gloves, swim suit, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Possible mud, a short steep section.

Boonie Stomps - Mt Alifan Battlefield/Lookout

We visit the Southern battlefield from the Liberation of Guam in 1944 on the slopes of Mt. Alifan. We will visit foxholes, fighting trenches, gun positions, tunnels, and caves, all the while enjoying the great view. The adventurous can continue on to the mountaintop lookout, with fantastic views. Bring: 1 or 3 quarts water, flashlight, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Low sword grass, crawling in tunnels, mosquitoes, uphill climbs.

Boonie Stomps - Invasion Hike to Tony’s Falls

The Invasion hike retraces the trail of the US 3rd Marines from Asan Beach up the hills and cliffs to Nimitz Hill and the Asan Bay Overlook Memorial. We then hike the open ridge down to Tony’s Falls for jumping and swimming. The Tony’s Falls Only hike takes a short trail directly to the falls and is perfect for small children and novice hikers. Bring: 3 quarts water, get wet shoes, gloves, swim suit, sun screen, insect repellant, snacks. Special conditions: Sword grass, steep hills.

We hike to the two Memorials in Merizo where village residents were massacred just before the Liberation of Guam. We then walk along a narrow ridge with spectacular views to cool off in the freshwater pools of the Pigua River, with waterfalls, jumping, and swimming. Bring: 2 quarts water, get wet shoes, gloves, swim suit, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special condition: possible muddy trail, mosquitoes.
