Boonie Stomp - Pagat Cave

We descend the cliffs to visit the arch (jumping/swimming if conditions permit) ancient Chamorro village, and the underground swim pool. Bring: 3 quarts water, hiking shoes, swim suit, Flashlight, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Walking in cave water, and walking over rough limestone rocks, steep slopes.

Our half-marathon hike! We hike from Mt. Jumullong-Manglo along the southern mountains, then descend to Inarajan Falls and finally out to Inarajan village. Bring: 4 quarts water, sturdy shoes, gloves, sun screen, lunch and snacks, swimsuit, and camera. Special conditions: Sword grass, little shade, steep hills, and a seriously long hike.

14 th Annual Saipan Marathon

The Marianas Visitors Authority will be its staging its 2019 Festival of Runs which includes the14th Saipan Full Marathon, 38th Half Marathon and the 33nd 10K Fun Run on Saturday, March 9, 2019. The AIMS and IAAF certified Saipan Marathon will take place at famous Micro Beach in Garapan.

The Saipan Marathon runs will start at 4:30 a.m. followed by the Half Marathon at 5:30 a.m. and the 10K Fun Run at 6:00 a.m. All runs will take you along some of Saipan’s most scenic roadways, with stunning views of the azure blue Saipan lagoon, along the popular Beach Road Pathway, and back to the start and end point at Micro Beach and American Memorial Park. Good health is important for every living individual and experts agree that running is one of the best ways to maintain proper health. Come join us in this magnificent event featuring the beautiful nature and scenery that Saipan has to offer!

We descend 256 steps to the rugged coastline of northeastern Guam, then walk north along rough coral to the fun but scary chimney climb to an overlook for great views. Bring: 3 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, swim suit, sun screen, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Walking on rough rocks, possible surf, and a steep climb out up the steps.

We hike to the abandoned Sherman tanks and landing craft at Tank Farm, then visit Guam’s iconic waterfall to enjoy jumping and swimming. Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking shoes, swimsuit, gloves, sun screen, lunch, snacks, and camera. Special conditions: A long hike with little shade, muddy slopes, a tricky stream crossing, and a steep climb using ropes.

We, go to hell and beyond. We make the long steep hike to the summit of Mt. Sasalaguan with its outstanding views, traverse to Atete, climb steeply down into the oven, then reach the summit of Mt. Schroeder. Bring: 4 quarts water, good hiking shoes, gloves, sun screen, lunch and snacks, and camera. Special conditions: Sword grass, steep slopes, long uphill climbs, sword grass, little shade, a long hike.

We explore the Spanish bridge, Spanish oven, and ancient Chamorro latte stones at Sella Bay, with time for snorkeling, swimming, or hanging out beneath the shade of the palms. The hike back to our cars includes the optional waterfall route. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking shoes, swim suit, snorkel gear, gloves, insect repellent, sun screen, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: A long hike in the sun over, clay, sand, rocks, and mud.
